สำนักต่างประเทศธรรมทายาทนานาชาติ ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ.2546 มีผู้เข้ารับการอบรมแล้วกว่า 400 คน จากกว่า 35 ประเทศทั่วโลก แต่ละประเทสมีผู้เข้าร่วมสนใจโครงการอุปสมบทและเข้ามาศึกษาพระพุทธศาสนา

ในการประชุมคณะกรรมการจัดงาน พิธีมอบรางวัลผู้ทำคุณประโยชน์ต่อพระพุทธศาสนา เมื่อวันที่ 15 มกราคม 2557 ณ สำนักงานพระพุทธศาสนาแห่งชาติ ที่ประชุมอันประกอบไปด้วย ผู้แทนสำนักงานพระพุทธศาสนาแห่งชาติ ผู้แทนองค์การยุวพุทธศาสนิกสัมพันธ์แห่งโลก และคณะผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ มีมติถวายรางวัลผู้นำพุทธโลก World Buddhist Outstanding Leader Award แด่พระภิกษุ และมอบรางวัลให้แก่บุคคลและองค์กร ผู้ทำคุณประโยชน์ต่อพระพุทธศาสนา

The Kathina Ceremony originated in the Buddha Time because the Lord Buddha saw the importance of changing the monks’ old saffron robes so he gave the permission that each monk could change his old saffron robe. Then, it becomes the tradition that has been done for over 2,000 years.
